Our Pizza Maestro will show you the ingredients you need to make his pizza. He will teach you how to kneed the dough, how to stretch and flatten the dough, and which topping to use for authentic Frascati pizza. You will also learn how to put it into the wood burning oven.
After the Pizza Making lesson you will have a wine tasting of the two main Frascati wines, Frascati Superiore DOCG, Red Vagnolo IGT. While you are trying the wine you’ll be served a selection of local antipasti and the pizza prepared during the lesson.
After dinner you can enjoy a coffee or digestivo while exploring the ancient Roman crypt located below the restaurant. Here you can see the skull of the Roman general Lucullo who was known for his extravagant feasts.

We (group of three women) had an amazing experience with this tour! We really felt like we lucked out with our tour guides, Valeria and Paola (and the doggy Orso) were all amazing hosts and so personable, informative and fun! They really made us feel like part of the culture! This town (Frascati) is one of the most beautiful, picturesque towns I’ve ever visited! We feel like we got so much for our money, experiences that money can’t buy! I really can’t recommend this enough!

“Amazing; Great locations, food, and awesome guides. We had an excellent time. Big group, but easily accommodated by Hop & Vine. The food was amazing, the weather was perfect, and it was really fun”aOne of the highlights of our Italy trip! Very well planned itinerary, great communication leading up to it so we knew how to meet up with the group, and one of the best wine tours I’ve been on. The winery tour guide was so knowledgeable and kind. There was a beautiful view and a very interesting cave. The wine and snacks were delicious. Afterwards, the trip into the Frascati town and the restaurant was fantastic. Every single person associated with this tour was professional, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I will recommend this to everyone who visits Rome! Thanks so much.
