Learn the secrets of sustainable Frascati farm to table cuisine in a beautiful setting.

Our Frascati Cooking Class takes place in beautiful Roman wine country just a 15 minute train ride from the center of Rome. It is available Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 12:30 - 14:30 and includes a tour of the vineyard and a cooking class where you will learn how to make traditional Frascati dishes and Frascati Wine cookies all paired with local Frascati DOC wines. Cost: 75€ per person-ages 16 and above 50€ per person-ages 3-15 No cost for ages 2 and below

Trip Itinerary

ARRIVAL
Arrive at Tor Vergata train station at 12:31 and walk (5 minutes) to the Old Frascati Farmhouse. Upon arrival you will be greeted by your Frascati local guide who will offer a toast with local house wine paired with bruschetta and olive oil and peccorino cheese with honey and flowers from the meadow.
EXPLORE THE ROMAN COUNTRYSIDE
Learn about Seasonal fruits and vegetables of the Roman countryside with your local guide who show you the seasonal vegetables and explain both their flavour profiles and how they are traditionally prepared.
TIME TO COOK
Learn the secrets to making the perfect traditional Roman dishes including how to make a traditional antipasto and contorno followed by a seasonal main course. We vary the dishes according to the season so you’re always eating the fresh local foods for the time of year. Enjoy your meal with a local wines and relax in the beauty of the vineyard.
TOUR END
You should finish lunch by about 2:30 PM.

Directions

Tor Vergata train station is just a 15 minute train ride from Rome.

Train Schedules:
Train #12705 Departs Roma Termini at 12:14 PM arrives in Tor Vergata at 12:32 PM.
(Please note that this train is heading to CASSINO-this is what the platform will say, Tor Vergata is the second stop, please be sure to exit at the correct stop.)

Return Trains:

Trains return to Rome every hour at 2:58 PM, 3:25 PM, 4:27 PM.
